Digital Delivery Group (DDG), a leading distribution consortium for digital home technology, has introduced five Z-Wave based wireless Whole Home Automation Packages that integrate remote home management, entertainment, lighting, and HVAC control systems from Nevo, Leviton, and Wayne-Dalton. By unifying products and systems from DDG's partner brands into packaged systems, the group says it makes it easier for retail custom installers to provide homeowners with capable systems that work right the first time they are turned on.

"I've lived with these products in my own house from the time the software was in beta testing," says Michael Sajecki, president of DDG Florida. "Now we can finally share the experience with our dealers. These packages are affordable lifestyle enhancements with the added benefit of energy cost savings that dealers can offer their clients and leverage for upside sales."

"DDG's Z-Wave packages are retrofittable, reliable, affordable and highly scalable," adds David Kaplan, executive director of DDG. "We provide local support for both hardware and software. They are profitable, as well as simple and robust to install and configure."

Z-Wave is the wireless technology that lets home electronics devices communicate with each other and the user via remote control, cell phone, or PC. It uses reliable, low-power radio waves, easily traveling through walls, floors and cabinets. Most importantly, Z-Wave allows for interoperability of all enabled devices, and network installation is easily duplicated job after job, according to DDG.

By leveraging Nevo's new 2.0 software, which supports full two-way Z-Wave control, DDG has created five packages ranging from a basic home theater Lighting and Entertainment Pack to Zone Packs that can manage lighting, entertainment, HVAC, and monitoring for multiple zones. Integrators, who specify any of these packages into a job, receive all the hardware, plus a disc that includes DDG's pre-configured Nevo 2.0 software for the packages; exclusive video tutorials; printable Nevo, Leviton, and Wayne-Dalton literature for customers; information on Nevo's Certified Dealer Program; and DDG's IR Library featuring brands such as Mitsubishi, Panasonic Pro and TiVo.

Digital Delivery Group Z-Wave Packages are now available from all 28 regional DDG warehouses.
